AAA and Others v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2023] EWCA Civ 745

The Court of Appeal has allowed the appeals in the Rwanda case, finding (by majority) that Rwanda is not presently safe for asylum-seekers to be sent to have their claims decided. Other grounds were rejected.

The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Burnett, explained (see below BBC news commentary) a summary of the conclusions of the majority of the Court of Appeal - Sir Geoffrey Vos & Lord Justice Underhill - on the safety of Rwanda (with which he himself disagreed)
