Our Mission Statement
Our Policy
We believe that people who have migrated to the UK should not be marginalised or mistreated because of their immigration status. They will live safely, free from poverty, discrimination, and exclusion, and be treated with compassion and respect.
People navigating the immigration system or subject to immigration controls should have access to the support they need. This includes families, long term residents, victims of domestic violence, and those with no recourse to public funds.
We deliver frontline practical services, specialist legal advice, holistic support and guidance so that people can leave crisis and begin to live safely. We work in partnership to increase access to statutory support from government departments, employers, schools, healthcare professionals and housing officers. Tulia advocates for everyone’s right to be settled, safe and understood because the needs of our community are our mandate.
Settled
It is our vision that each person, no matter where they come from can find rest, safety, and resolution in every area of their life that previously wasn’t quite falling into place. Settled not just in terms of accommodation, status agreements, or legal standing, but in settled in spirit too. Settled for us means a sustained and established peace that lasts.
