CARAG Community Discussion - 2025

On March 12, 2025, we participated in a community discussion at CARAG, where our Founder and CEO, Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya, delivered a short presentation on the impact of current immigration policies, reaffirming our commitment to supporting migrants through legal guidance and advocacy. With tighter immigration rules—including stricter work visa requirements, rising deportations, and the end of the Rwanda deportation scheme—the need for migrants to understand their rights and legal options is more urgent than ever. The Border Security, Asylum, and Immigration Bill 2024/25 introduces new enforcement measures, raising concerns about their effect on vulnerable communities. Events like CARAG provide vital space for conversation, connection, and collective action, helping us work toward a more fair and compassionate immigration system. Click to Read More
