Trainee OISC Caseworker

At Tulia we are seeking a trainee OISC caseworkers who will work towards a qualification in OISC level 1 in accordance with the OISC standards.

Job Description

With this role you will be working as part of the team, based in Coventry. 

Our training course is designed to provide you with an introduction into immigration advice. We aim to cover the syllabus at level 1 in accordance with the OISC standards and regulations. 

The aim of our course is to provide you with basic knowledge of immigration, EU, and Asylum Law. You will receive useful exam techniques and tips in preparation for the assessment. 

We will provide you with mock exams which will allow you to practice in the run up to your assessment. 

Once you have received your qualification, you will be expected to work as an OISC level 1 caseworker at our organisation for an expected minimum time frame of one year. With this qualification, you will be able to provide basic immigration advice to our clients. After this, based on your performance, and future goals, we may choose to extend your contract by mutual agreement. You will also have the option of enrolling onto our OISC level 2 and 3 caseworker course upon successful completion of the level 1 course. 

Qualifications: A law degree 

Experience: A desire to qualify within the immigration sector.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
