Supporting the Community at Coventry Market Place Event
On the 7th March, our Tulia team had the privilege of attending the Coventry Market Place Event at Methodist Central Hall. This event, organized by Coventry City Council, brought together a range of community organizations, charities, and essential service providers to support internationally recruited care workers and other residents settling in Coventry.
As a team committed to empowering individuals through legal support, we set up a stall to offer expert advice and resources on key legal matters affecting the community. Throughout the event, we engaged with attendees, answering questions and providing guidance on issues such as:
Immigration and Visa Support – Helping newcomers navigate their legal rights and options.
Employment Rights – Providing clarity on workplace rights, contracts, and protections.
Housing and Tenancy Issues – Assisting with concerns related to renting and housing security.
Community and Business Support – Advising local organizations on legal compliance and governance.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with individuals and organizations that share our mission of supporting Coventry’s diverse communities. Many attendees approached us with questions about their rights in the UK, and we were able to offer practical advice and direct them to further support services where needed.
Attending events like these consistently inspires us, fueling our motivation to further expand our outreach efforts. We look forward to attending more community events, hosting legal workshops, and building stronger partnerships to ensure that everyone in Coventry has access to legal guidance when they need it most.
